Broiled Trout with Barbecue Sauce

3 lbs. trout fillets
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
5 tbsp. butter or margerine
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup finely chopped green pepper
1/2 cup chili sauce
1/2 cup catsup
1/3 cup lemon juice
2 tbsp. light brown sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Wipe fillets with damp cloth. Combine 1 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper, and all the seasoned salt; sprinkle both sides of trout. Arrange on greased rack in broiler pan. Dot lightly with 1 tbsp. butter. Broil 4 inches from heat for 5 minutes. Turn trout, dot with 1 tbsp. butter and broil 7 minutes longer. Meanwhile, make barbecue sauce: saute onion and green pepper until tender in 3 tbsp. butter. Add remaining ingredients, 1/2 cup water and remaining salt and pepper. Simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes. Serve over trout. Serves 6.
